"To get all the cool Skinny stuff humming, we recommend upgrading to iOS 5.1.  This solves some annoying little issues with personal hotspot, caller ID and our network name shhowing up as Telecom XT." - http://www.skinny.co.nz/2484_EN-Settings-iPhones.htm

So how am I supposed to get the network name to show as Skinny instead of Telecom NZ? I updated to iOS5.1 the day after it was released, and this page says to get this fix you just need to update but I'm fairly certain it would require a carrier update right? How do we go about doing that? I cant find any files on the Skinny site.

Usually to get a carrier update you just connect it to iTunes and it quickly downloads it.

Yes my phone performs most functions properply, On occasion I get annoying popups saying data services are offline or something but they aren't. Its just a little thing that's meant to be fixed but isn't.

The info on the website is incorrect and I've requested it to be updated.  The network name change will come later.
