  Could you please advice the cost of connecting to you guys if I do not already have a phone line.

Look over here: https://www.flip.co.nz/what-does-flip-cost/ . It says: There is a one-off $49.95 install fee, but no contract.

If there isn't a phone line then I believe Chorus charges $402 for connection.

Depends.

If you have a line into your house already then our standard connection of $49.95 should be fine. Easy way to check if to see if you have jack points wired up.

Otherwise, it can be quite expensive. $260 to be connected and have a jack point installed, even more if you need a coppper line actually connected to your house.
