So I've got the S5 and am rather impressed with S Health. Pretty cool little app with little "sub apps" in it - apparently it is similar to My Fitness Pal, never used it.

At the moment I have the pedometer going all day and am logging exercise and food in it. Not looking to loose weight or even get much fitter than I am, I just want to add tech to my exercise lol.

Anyway, I would really like to get a Gear Fit but not sure if I can fully justify dropping $400 on it. Is anyone using the Gear Fit and does it make exericise even more techno-spectacular than just using the S5?

I have the Gear 2 and use it when cycling as it does speed, distance and heart rate but you can't really view it whilst cycling. It works well and I'm very impressed with it. But if its just fitness stuff and notification the Fit would be the go, think its closer to $300
