What media player are you using? If iTunes, you can get yourself Airport Express or any AirPlay devices.

Buy a USB FM transmitter.

No idea if DSE still sell them but there are plenty of options.

Eww no.  FM transmission is crap.

If you're going to buy something, you may as well spend the $25 on Airplay.. results will be better

2 ideas:

If you run itunes on something (like a laptop) you can control it with the free Remote app from your iphone/ipad etc.  Connect laptop to stereo with a cheap headphone socket to rca cable and you're good to go.
https://itunes.apple.com/app/remote/id284417350?mt=8

Other idea is something like the apple TV ($169 ish).  With this you can send audio from another source, (such as a laptop running itunes or from your iphone direct if it has the music on it), to the apple TV via airplay.  This essentially sends the whole file by wifi so there's essentially no loss of quality via this method.

Thought about using Bluetooth?

I use this for playing any audio from my pc or phone - http://www.belkin.com/us/p/P-F8Z492
