Anything up to $2000. Been leaning towards a Dell XPS 13. Any recommendations or good deals I should know about? Smile

freitasm: I see there are a few retailers still listing the HP Folio.

Ahh true. The online shops Smile How do you find the quality of the build Mauricio? I've read about the screens being a bit fragile

They were also vastly cheaper in Aussie. If you're looking for a laptop around the $1500 - $2000 mark these days it would almost pay to get a $300 airfare to oz, buy the laptop, declare it and pay GST. You'll probably end up paying what you would do in NZ and get a holiday.

Well, I don't throw it around, carry inside a laptop sleeve inside my backpack and have had no problems... I am using it now as my main machine actually.

Yeah I know Undecided I got my 32GB S3 over in Oz and it ended up being nearly $300 cheaper.

If you can wait a little. Lenovo Yogapad! Not sure exactly when it will be released in NZ.

If you want it right now then I strongly recommend the ThinkPad X1 Carbon from Lenovo NZ.

I got my ASUS UX31A (i5 1980x1080p matte IPS display) for $1800NZD all up from Ebay several months ago now, selling for about ~$2400NZD at the few places with it for sale locally. Nice ultrabook.

Ok, the Folios are out as the only one for a reasonable price is in store only (in Hamilton)
There's a Dell XPS 13 with the i7 for $1745 at JB Hifi.....not bad
Samsung Series 9 is all out of stock due to the Windows 8 version coming out shortly.

Will look into the Lenovo and Acer models
