Hey dudes and ladies of the GEEK world.

I read ebooks, sometimes Microsoft PDF books etc... and as a gamer I want to know my progress (percentage) as I find this quite motivational. I have made (I won't call it developed as it's tiny) this tool to help me.

So if you're doing things the same way, and have 2 monitors, this might be the tool for you, just put the tool in one screen and your ebook in the other (probably the vertical one if you have one) and watch it get closer to 100% Laughing

My setup has one sitting horizontally for movies and games, and another sitting vertically for ebooks, browsing and solitaire game playing while watching a movie (yeah I get bored and yes I do play solitaire).

Just put the total number of pages, or the number of the (objective) last page of the book you are reading and the number of current page in the little box under the percentage sign and click the controls to add/sub a page or 10 pages.

I know, it's stupid, little but might be useful if you are a totally insane geek like myself. Cheers, let me know if you want some feature added.

And don't forget to visit my website if you want to hire me to develop some stupid tools and gadgets for you. lol

Download the Book Progress tool v2.2

Some sneaky admin has moved this article here. Thanks mate :D I didn't know this forum existed and the other one said "Tools" so I though to myself "this is a tool".
