Is anyone else noticing delays in email being sent from Xtra accounts and the email arriving in the recipients inbox. We have noticed delays of 2 to 3 hours in the last week.

Snap! I just received an email from an Xtra customer that was sent at 11:21am this morning. That makes a 9 hour delay. Seems like Xtra are having problems again...

Seems to be Yahoo! problems. I've been seeing the same thing, about a 4 hour delay.

I assume you all have logged calls with the Broadband support desk?

There is an ongoing case which is being investigated but without more people logging faults then the Helpdesk won't know the extent.

If you're having this issue I do advise you log a call on the broadband helpdesk 0800 225 598

Yes I have been having this problem for a few days too when using the xtra / yahoo smtp server. Wasn't really sure wher ethe problem was, as I thought it was the receiving email provider.

If people are still having these issues please do email me "pl at telecom dot co dot nz" and I can chase them up.
Preferably forwarding emails with full headers so I can see if there is anything wrong and forward them onto the relevant team.
