Hi,

I'm currently on the old Smartphone 40 plan and have about a year left on my two year contract. I'm going away for a week and will likely need more than 500 MB of data. In the past I've simply moved up to Smartphone 60 for a month, then swapped back to 40 the following month.

Even though the old plans are now grandfathered, am I correct in assuming that I can still switch between them (I'm going by the logic that I agreed to stay on that "type" of plan for two years)? Is that's not possible, am I able to go to the new Smartphone $59 and then down to $39 without incurring any fees?

Thanks :)

Behodar:
riahon: The $39 plan has 500mb anyway so just move sideways to the new plan. No need to chop and change as you will be getting more minutes and data for the same price.

Well, that was my second question. If I can do that without a penalty then that's great :)

They are both tier 4 so no penalty to pay, your existing contract will remain so a good win for you.
