Hi guys

Can anyone from telecom in the know tell me what bands are supported on the htc 8s (telecom one being sold)

I understand that WCDMA bands are 850/900/2100 however i am interested in the GSM bands as well (i know the network does not support it).

Cheers

I'll ask around, but I would expect as per the specs I have googled for:

GSM/GPRS/EDGE:  850/900/1800/1900 MHz

But that is of no use on the Telecom Network here in NZ since we're a pure 3G WCDMA 850Mhz network, but I assume you're asking because you're wanting to take it roaming internationally.

I'll see if I can find out the exact specs and get the online page updated.

I work for Telecom, but as always my views are my own.

Thanks, yes I am off overseas next year and if it can do the 3 bands in WCDMA and the GSM bands above then I will be covered to use the phone overseas,

Cheers
