I desperately need the huawei u8180-7 TNZ firmware for my phone and I can't find any downloads anywhere!!!   I accadently flashed the Vodafone firmware which runs on 900/2100 mhz baseband and telecom network is 850/2100 mhz so I only get signal where there is a 2100mhz tower which is basically nowhere -.-

Please help me somehow by someone uploading this firmware or helping me enable 850mh baseband, any help is much appreciated and thanks in advance

I've had a chat with the device testing guys.

They have said if you do send it to Telegistics via going into a Telecom store they should normally attempt to flash to stock Telecom rom back onto the phone.

There would be a charge for this (and one assumes it would be less than buying a new phone)

If it could be recovered then the folks at Telegistics would normally try, but that would be with the caveat that if you've screwed up your phone from doing something you really shouldn't have then you'll be up for the service fee and perhaps get a phone back which can't be fixed.

Such is the dangers of flashing a phone with a foreign rom which may or may not do bad things to your phone, especially the baseband radio.

I work for Telecom, but as always my views are my own.
