Hi guys, crappy question but need to know as if I can get a Harrier cheaper internationally then that would be great.

But I suspect because each country has different service providers that I won't be able to buy a Harrier from the States and have it work on our 027 network - is this correct? Or is there a way to make it work?

Again, apologising for the novice like question but I've been told you guys are the best option to getting an answer.

Cheers

If you buy an unconnected Harrier in the USA you will not be able to use it on the Telecom network. If it is connected (like to Sprint) it will roam to NZ for voice only.

Correct - buy it in NZ. Is it any cheaper in the US given that the Harrier is subsidised by Telecom?

Well I am on contract but phone broke so got insurance - so figured I could get it cheaper if I was a little sneaky!
