Hi,

I thought it would be a good idea to introduce Telecom’s official representatives for these forums – there are three main people from our Online Response Team (ORT) on Geekzone. They are:

NealR  - Neal Richardson
Neal is the Resource Capability Manager for Mobile. He has been at Telecom for as long as Amber has been alive. He is responsible for all things mobile.

tarasutherland - Tara Sutherland
Tara is a Principal Infrastructure Designer. She has been at Telecom for approximately 3 years.

Outside of Telecom Tara is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer in Auckland. You can check out her diving blog here.

jaidevp - Jaidev Patel
Jaidev is a Solution Architect mobile. He has been at Telecom for approximately 6 years.

He's a home theatre geek and in his spare time build's and repair computers. He's apparently also a indoor cricket fiend.

plambrechtsen - Peter Lambrechtsen
Peter is a long time geekzoner himself. He works for Telecom as a Development Consultant.

Peter is interested in all areas of geekiness. :)

michaelmurfy - Michael Murphy
Michael is a Technical Analyst for a broad range of Telecom products and has worked for Telecom for over 2 years.

He's interested in anything geeky, in his spare time he enjoys a bit of gaming and flying his pet Multicopter.

gajan - Gajan Shivanandan
Gajan is the Principal Solution Architect for Mobile in Telecom. He's been involved with most things Wireless in NZ, and several "firsts" from Warkworth to Tuatapere.

The ORT is a voluntary group that manages Telecom’s Twitter account (@telecomnz) and speaks for Telecom in forums, social media , etc…

Lots of the Telecom team are active on Geekzone and we encourage our people to post. You might find yourself talking directly with an expert or someone working directly on one of our products or services.  If you’re Telecom staff and have questions or queries about posting in these forums feel free to get in touch.

If you want to get in touch with someone from Telecom please feel free to contact any of the three above. If you want to escalate an issue, we'll need details and a Telecom fault or reference number.

You can log a fault by calling 123 (*123 from your mobile), or emailing http://telecom.custhelp.com/app/ask. There's also:

Land line faults - 120
Broadband faults - 0800 22 55 98
Business customers - 125

As always feel free to contact me if you have any issues or queries.

Regards,
Amber Craig

Thanks for this post Amber!

Also important to point out that there are some other Telecom folks around. However, please do not disclose account and personal information to anyone, unless they are listed in Amber's post, or if they have a " Telecom NZ" tag under their name. We check that people are with Telecom (and other companies) before assigning tags.
