Hello folks

I have decided to start working on the Geekzone Facebook page and increase our presence there. We are now posting updates to the page with our latest forums topics, Geekzone Jobs listings and new/reviews items.

If you are using Facebook, it would be great if you could "Like" our page. It will be another way for you to get notified of updates (if you don't follow our Twitter accounts or our RSS feeds already).

Does clicking 'Like' on a page actually help the company/service in any way?

Workstation: Intel DH67CL ~ i5-2500 ~ 4GB Corsair RAM (x2) ~ Intel X25-M 80GB SSD

Laptop: Dell Inspiron 1564 ~ i5-520M ~ 4.00GB RAM ~ 500GB SATA HDD ~ Win7 Home Premium x64

Common misconceptions.

It helps spreading the word about the site. There's no money involved in that.

Is it possible to split out the jobs from the news posts? Keen to keep up with news releases from GZ, but my FB news feed keeps getting hammered by job listings :-)

We had the news, jobs and forums there. I have removed the forums because that was a lot more than anything else - and repeated too. I didn't think jobs would be that much, as it only loads a couple of times a day.

Please let it be for a few more days and let me know how it goes when it settles down.

I'm actually quite surprised it's taken this long.
