So quick question... if you see a post in the forums that has been 'voted' as the correct answer, is there a way to get it changed if you know it is incorrect?

I have seen a couple of answers in the past couple of weeks that are dead wrong, and would hate to see them taken as the alpha and omega

You can notify a moderator/administrator, a Trusted users or the OP. With time we might extend Answers Set/Reset to everyone - we have to make sure there isn't any spam, trolling going on.

No problem, I will send you a PM.

I am an electrical engineer and I find the most incorrect statements in the pure electrical, and sometimes electrical related services questions. I guess that's the problem with expertise in your own field.

I make it a habit to completely fact check when I post, and I can always back up statements with physical evidence, or NZ standard / Building Code requirements.

I'd rather not turn this into a name and shame situation. I have informed MF and he has dealt with it :)

Maybe I am just being OCD, but I like to get things right

If it's in your area of expertise then SET an Answer. If it's in your area of expertise and you see something that is clearly wrong, RESET an Answer (if you can, otherwise notify site mods/admins).

If you're the OP and the answer did solve your problem, SET as Answer.

With time more and more thread will be marked as answered and make things a lot better. But we need a good number of people getting involved.

I recommend we follow up discussions on the feature itself to existing thread.
