Hey MF... would love a way to +1 posts without having to create a forum reply, sometimes something is worth tipping your hat to, but not worth creating a reply that doesn't include any new info...

+1. ;)

Like the "Say thanks" system on xda, or, of course, the G+ +1 system.

There's a FB Like at the bottom of every page.

freitasm: There's a FB Like at the bottom of every page.

This is more specifically for individual posts that we find helpful or just funny, not so much a whole thread etc

I think I know what to do here. Will start coding this tonight. Might be ready by end of the week.

If there was a thanks or +1 button I'd have just pushed it. ;)

Thanks!

Cool... My idea works in dev then. Just need to put it in the forums script, package nicely, test and deploy. Might be something that will be available early next week then:

Right, this is where I am after a couple of hours work:

Need some tweaking in the code now to correctly work with private forums and it should be good by next week.

+1 to this idea, kinda give credit to those with +1s to their posts, similar to stackoverflow etc.
