AndrewTD: I like the idea of a self-selected checklist for technology "types" we use - but agree it's not a badge thing.


Well the auto awarded ones could be called achievements and the user selected ones badges. Just a thought.

I was thinking more along the lines of tiny indicators per tech. type, either in the bar on the left, or perhaps as an optional extra line / section showing in or below our signature line for each post.

"Has stalkers - 10, 25, 50..." - I figure people who are stalking me are interested in the content I present. If people are stalking you and I'm not then I'm interested to check out what you have to say as you might be a good content producer I should not miss.

I know the site has that friends posted thing... I don't look at it, I use the email feed to keep check on the stuff I might be interested in following.

We won't have public IPv6 until we have it... Actually working on a temporate 6to4 tunnel, until we can have native IPv6 addresses through Datacom. Firewall being configured so should have a tunnel setup by next week.

And here was I thinking it was the Sierra Madre badge for those people that didn't want badges Wink

How about a "Winner!" badge for those that have won one of Geekzone's giveaways? Although I can see that going over past history to retroactively award them could be tedious.
