While I too think it would be amusing to see such a feature on GZ, I wouldn't want it to go ahead of my manual (only) reset read forums request, where the reset flags do not reset automatically, but only when you manually set them to read using a link like the one currently at the top of each page.  This would allow me to come in and read selected posts when I was time constrained, but still come back later to catch up on all the other unread posts from my last proper visit.

Yes Mauricio, this is my 6 monthly request for this feature! :-)

codyc1515: Maybe Mauricio doesn't want us to see the reasons for the bans? /conspiracy theory

Better save this post, so we can post it up latter when codyc1515 gets banned for accusing Mauricio of conspiracy.

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their ADSL broadband network faster. Why not spend a couple of hundred to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?
Geekzone special price: $150* for master splitter install, normally $200+ through your ISP. Auckland and Waikato areas.
*Travel charges may apply. Additional costs may apply for complex installs.
I install - Naked DSL, DSL Master Splitters, VoIP, RBI Rural Broadband. Also a dealer for WorldxChange.

We dont need you guys seeing the usual reasons for banning...

"Didnt call me sir"
"Dont like their lack of spellcheck"
"Didnt buy me a drink at the GZPE"

and the ultimate reason for being banned...

"Appeared to know more than me on a subject"

Mods also get banned by the way.... "for not posting more pictures".

All fair reasons. If the ban list wont be published, then how about a raffle, prize being Mod for a day, I am drawing up my hit list now.

On 1st April 2011 we run a prank which consisted of a "BAN" button in all posts - similar to what moderators see...

There were quite a few people "banned" then - we logged all clicks.

Same here

Not sure if it's related, but it might have something to do with trying to start another Galaxy S II thread, when there was no need for one though

Suggesting a thread split wouldn't be reason for a ban, not even temporary.

It's disappointing to me that this thread even exists and I sincerely hope that it never gets implemented in any form, which has nothing to do with my recent break away and everything to do with common sense and decency. Surely there are better things do to than investigate/compile bans and the reasons behind them?
