Vodafone SMS intermittently received

Hi guys, Anyone else notice that they haven't received many text messages today? This evening I got told off by my partner for not replying to a message I did not receive, strange. Two hours later I get a message from a customer of mine, she's been messaging me all day apparently, not a sausage from her to my phone though, except the latest angry one. Strange thing is I have been getting messages from other people, both Vodafone and Telecom. I rang the service desk and logged a call, the lady sent me two messages from her system, I got one. Very strange

Experiencing this in Marlborough yesterday and today. Tried calling help desk several times from mobile and landline and disappeared into a black hole every time.

Thanks John - and thanks for taking the time to answer my concerns here. Looks like it was a handset issue as I am sure they often are! :) Regardless - all working well now after trying the sim in a couple of other handsets and factory defaults.
