I'm kinda over ringing up customer service so am taking to the net.....is anyone else having data angel issues?

over the last six months i have been having issues with non related data alert txts where they bore no relation to my actual usage or didn't arrive at all (to vf's credit they did adjust my bills accordingly - thanks vf!) was really excited by the Data Angel announcement as i would no longer have to ring up each month and hope i get someone useful at customer service!

Data Angel has FAILED two months in a row and not cut me off!!! i thought this was the whole point! is anyone else having this issue????

When i made my monthly call i had to start quoting VF's own press releases to the op as they told me it wouldn't cut out

"When you use 80% of your data we’ll send you a TXT to let you know
When you use 100% of your data we’ll send you a TXT to let you know and your datasession will be stopped"

He then went away and came back and said there were known issues with iPhones...i have heard this before...one customer service op told me data text alerts were out for iPhones for the whole of March?? (i think that was an excuse to be honest)

info: on a eligible on account plan and running iphone 4s

:)

reply from VF re this: "The super compuer (infrarnet) can only count what is passed to it from the Core network! These are called CDRs

CDRs are passed off the SGSN (packet switch) or the Media Gateways (circuit switch)

There are checks done on the CDRs before they are passed to the super computer (infranet) to be counted / rated, If any of the CDRs are corrupt or don't look right during the pre-check before been passed over the CDRs will suspended and not rated

So the usage on the days saying no usage is your bonus!"
