Anyone from Vodafone able to assist, wasnt able to locate specific info on Vodafone.co.nz.

I have purchased a iphone 5 as a surprise christmas gift for someone. I will be giving this to them on Christmas day.

Is it possible for me to purchase a nano sim in advance to have ready on christmas day when stores are closed, and would they be able to phone vodafone to have their number swapped to their new nano sim?

They are currently on Vodafone Supa Prepay, we will txt to activate the prepay freebee option with data.

As I will only be with them on Christmas day, I would like to take the opportunity to set this up for them as it will be their first iphone and not necessarily technologically savvy

Thanks

A CSR can do a SIM swap, you just need to provide the IMSI number to them and it'll be working in a matter of minutes.
