I have no 3g coverage with Voda here in Whangarei as confirmed on their coverage map even though I am about 600m from their cell :-( but 2Degrees shows full coverage on their map.
I thought that 2Degrees used Vodafones network outside of the main centres?

2degrees are rolling out their network nationally at present.

As for having no 3G with Vodafone do you have a phone that supports the correct frequencies?

peejayw: Thanks for that. I am on Vodafone and was just surprised when I saw their coverage map as I thought they used Vodafones network. Obviously not tho.

Hi,

Yep, we have our own towers in Whangarei. You'll find the Mobile Broadband coverage here

Outside of our canopy our customers roam on Vodafone's network.

Cheers
