Vodafone today launches half price calling for Prepay Freebees customers – with calls charged at less than 25c per minute to New Zealand mobiles and landlines.

From 5 February, Prepay Freebees™ customers will enjoy the lowest any network prepay calling rate in New Zealand – as well as a choice of bonus with every top up.

“Since Prepay Freebees launched at the end of last year, customers have been receiving value-packed bonuses every time they top up,” explains Zac Summers, Vodafone General Manager of Consumer Marketing.

“Kiwis love a deal, and Vodafone Prepay Freebees customers now get half price New Zealand calling so they can talk more for less for the rest of summer.  And they still get a value-packed bonus on top of their credit every time they top up.”

Prepay Freebees offers customers the choice of bonus data and TXTs, or bonus minutes and TXTs on top of their prepay credit, giving customers what they want the most – loads of bonus stuff!  Customers receive a bonus every time they top up and get to keep their full top up amount, giving them the freedom to use their credit the way they want.

Zac continues: “It’s our simplest Prepay plan ever as you don’t need to worry about buying add-ons.  Now your top up goes further than ever before so you can spend more time talking, texting or surfing the net for no extra cost every time you top up.”

For more information on Vodafone Prepay Freebees, visit your nearest Vodafone store or head to   www.vodafone.co.nz/freebees/.  Vodafone customers wanting to move to Freebees should TXT “Freebee Data” or “Freebee Talk” to 756 and follow the instructions.

Yes good for the casual voice rate. I do hope they make it permanent. Two degrees casual voice rate at 44 CPM since August 2009 is starting to look stale in comparison.
