wazzab: That is rubbish from 2degrees. I've had 2 iPhones from work and my wifes iPhone stolen this year. I had to photocopy original apple boxes or provide police report for proof, and get this to both Telecom and Voda to get them blacklisted. I should now be able to provide this to 2degrees also, to get them blacklisted also, to stop the scumbags who stole them using them, or the person who received stolen goods using them.

I wonder, is there anything stopping you from now reporting theses handsets stolen to 2degrees, you've got all the relevant info there, they were stolen. Why can't you now report it to them.

Yes, I suppose I could go and do this, but whats the point of having a combined database when they are not combined from the start. I guess what we need to know is :

Turn a handset on, on the Voda network, will it be checking its old blacklist for Vodafone only, then checking against this new combined blacklist from all three networks.
Turn a handset on, on the Telecom network, will it be checking its old blacklist for Telecom only, then checking against this new combined blacklist from all three networks.
Turn a handset on, on the 2D network, it will only checking this new combined blacklist from all three networks.
