Perhaps under the NP you might put Naked Plus as that way there can be no question.

Do you wholesale voice services and with who ?
Do you have your own platform for your cloud based PABX or are you wholesaling as well ?

I use italk because I got it free with a naked bundle. It has been reliable for me and I get 500 mins a month free nationwide and to 40 countries which is great but I just need a cheaper way to call international cell phones and local cell phones.Money Mouth

I find the 2talk platform to be great. Their feature set blows everything else out of the water, especially at the price point.

In terms of reliability, I'd give it 2talk an A (having also use VFX, which I would rate A+).

While their support has lacked in the past, I have found it to be much much better of late, both in terms of response times and quality of support. I do some unusual stuff with my calls (Diversions left, right and center) and have had some excellent support from them recently.

Having used 2talk for a number of years now, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who knows what they are doing and doesn't mind getting their hands dirty (In return for an amazing feature set). If you want an out of the box, plug and play solution VFX is fantastic.

Run across a cloud based solution from compass which looks the part, will look into this along with WXC and  will naked plus (cheers Ramy) will stear clear of two talk though, mixed responses on the last couple of posts about two talk, see some bad things about compass also but these seem to be residential based from what i gather

It's all our own support infrastructure.  We do wholesale some of our services, just like almost all other broadband providers in nz.
Anyways, not my field to be honest, maybe you would like to email [email protected] and ask to be forwarded to the Managing Director.
However I believe he’s already dealt with you guys over at World Exchange.

You may want to see what Ramy comes back with an answer around his platform..

Do they have their own or do they resell someone else, it may actually be a resold 2talk or Compass solution, nothing wrong with that at all I will add, you would just want to know how your connection will connected and supported, important for business when dealing with any faults and porting requests / issues

With all due respect, It wasn't my intention to flog the competition. 
I would really prefer any questions in regards to that subject directed to the GM.

All connections and support are handled in house, by nakedplus.

The reason I asked these as there seem to be a number of companies promoting SIP services and from point of view that's great I am a huge advocate of SIP and have pushed this as replacement for your traditional analogue TDM services for a number of years, but there is also a lot of confusion around this especially for new customers, looking at what's in the market place they have a number choices which is great, however with SIP being a new technology for a lot of people there is also a lot of misunderstanding around what they are actually getting getting.

I wrote a bit a year or so ago on some things to look for, this is not aimed at anyone in particular more of things that people should be aware of.

There is nothing wrong with doing a wholesale service, but some things that customers need to be aware of are several layers of overheads, these can add delays in faults , porting etc, great you are doing your front line customer support but as an example if your offering porting, you don't have this direct yourself, you had this off to 2Talk who will do it for you correct ?,

If you have any type of SIP fault with the customer again you will have no visibility into 2Talks platform to diagnose any compliant i.e my device wont receive inbound calls, From a ITSP point of view you will have access to systems that will be able to diagnose this, but as a reseller you will have to log a fault with them and rely on them to advise the issue as its there platform and you will not have the tools available to check internal network issues, another reseller example if there was an issue with Callplus national interconnect network this would affect you as well as 2talk so logging issues becomes a 3 layer approach as 2Talk do not have a national interconnect network and are a reseller of Callplus number ranges i.e all their numbers actually come via Callplus network so this to is a effective reseller model,

Again I will say nothing wrong with this and 2Talk with Ray and Jude are pretty good people and run a good reseller model on their platform but this is something that customers need to be aware of in this new IP world especially when startup companies appear to be promoting services as their own so this can be very misleading for customers, if you look at what the ops say here he has no idea that he will be just be using 2talk but supported at a lower level.

Just be more upfront about it is all I would say as it appeared you didn't want people to know you are reselling someone else's services,  put up 2talk reseller on your site that way it appears more open.
