Does anyone else not able to access there 2talk account, there VOIP phone gone offline and 2talk.co.nz is also down.

It looks as though it was a DNS+routing problem - I could access the IPs for fep8.2talk.co.nz, but couldn't ping the IPs for their nameservers (27.111.14.81 27.111.14.31), from a couple of different NZ networks. International was fine.

All looks fine now.

It appears to be related to the Auckland Peering Exchange (APE) - we have seen both route servers drop in the past hour and we have seen Layer-2 issues with traffic to many APE connected ISP's.  We have logged a case with Citylink and have shutdown our APE peering in the mean time to avoid further interruptions in service.

Apologies for the interruptions in service.  Engineers are working with Citylink to resolve the issue.

I thought Citylink were upgrading one of their route servers soon, perhaps it even was today?
