Yes, and depending on where you are, they can be much worse than the cable customers.

DonGould: Where are you? 
At work.

Palmerston North. 

I did a speedtest.net check two nights ago when it was at it's worst, and got a download speed of 0.7 and an upload speed of 0.8  Basically nothing.  Haven't logged a complaint yet, and it was out of hours at the time.  As above though, in that it comes rightish at other times, it's very on/off. 

There's no way we're staying with these guys after a year, and I'll battle it out (to avoid penalty) to move before then if needs be.
