Is anyone else from Wellington experiencing an outage since last night, there's no update on TCL website but when I rung last night there was an IVR message saying there was an outage in the Wellington area.
Turns out my issue was a bad external ethernet port on the firewall. It was dropping about 50% of packets, without logging any issue. ie looks hardware. Started just after lightning very close to here. May be related
I got the same phone message thinking issue would be a couple of hours at the most. Calling the next evening the support person said the outage effected 20k customers! But should not require on site tech support so they were not taking bookings.
Today called again and booked a tech that will come out on the 21st?!!
So not cable or Internet until then
