#4: Find the configuration for internet and ensure the connection type is set to static. You will likely need to input a series of info about your connection into the following options such as IP Address, Subnet Mask(always 255.255.255.0) and default gateway (your IP address but the last digit changed to a 1). Edit: As far as I can see in the specifications of the router, it looks capable of working on our cable network.
