Hello guys, Every five minutes or so an AVG Residential Shield Alert pops up saying there is a threat. The file is located in System32 and every time it is a different spyware. They all end with .dll. However times I remove the threat another one will just pop up in five minutes!

What may be the problem? This is a newly installed Win7 OS.

A separate underlying problem/virus/malware that is creating all those malicious .dll's, perhaps?

The best thing to do would be to run one of those bootable live virus scanner/rescue CDs.

Some options:
Microsoft Security Sweepe
Kaspersky Rescue Disk
AVG’s Rescue CD
Avira AntiVir Rescue System

See if any of those pick anything up with a boot scan.
