Topic # 106695 30-Jul-2012 08:28 Send private message

One of my colleagues appears to have been running her home laptop without any virus protection and has caught something that will not let her proceed after booting until she purchases an offered virus cleaner.

She wants to take the laptop somewhere to get it cleaned up and sorted out. Anyone know of someone in or near Auckland CBD that could do this for her?

We can help, we are in Newton. We aren't the cheapest around, but we do a fair bit of this type of thing!
PM me if you wish.

Many thanks Andre. Have tracked you down to SSL - will pass on the details to my colleague and she can make contact.

Oops, re-read the OP and it seems to be a software issue not a hardware one (the company I was thinking of handles all of HP's hardware warranty claims).

Go with Andre, he's a good guy.
