Cool feature i just noticed in Network and Internet settings.... Data usage (breaks usage down by WIFI and Ethernet and then by App.)

Kinda cool, not sure if Windows 8.1 had this but i wasn't aware of it.

When I first upgraded it did not install drivers for my 970 but they came up in Windows Update and installed fine. I've had no issues all day.

semigeek: Is Edge going to be able to import bookmarks from any other browser other than Internet Explorer? Also, will you be able to right click on the favourites bar and add bookmarks in upcoming versions?

I discovered this too, pretty annoying

I want to try use Edge fro an extended period of time but the effort it'd take to manually move my bookmarks over from Chrome is a bit too much for me to bother.

Does anyone know how to do a clean install of Windows 10 once the upgrade has completed?

If you download the ISO from the windows website and make a bootable USB stick , I think that will do it.

yes, but make sure your Windows 10 is activated

you could run setup.exe then when it asks what you want to migrate, choose “nothing” or “data only

I think "Something Happened" error message means that you switched to 64bit mode in the removable media installer, then played around with the dropdowns above it, which actually resets the 64bit back to 32bit in my case! So you probably downloaded the 32bit version. Try selecting the dropdown options in the USB/ISO creator top down, then don't change them. Make sure that 64bit is still selected just before you click the next step.

Those are just my thoughts on why "Something Happened", anyway - I could be wrong but that is what happened to me.

Unfortunately the USB installer asked me for my product key, entered it in and it said it was the wrong product key!

Looks like I will just have to wait for the automatic update :S

Did you boot off this USB to do the upgrade? If so it won't work. You need to run setup.exe on the stick while you are logged in to the copy of Windows you wish to upgrade. If you computer is set to boot from USB, make sure to remove the stick during the first reboot :)

Good point. Is there a quick way to assure activation, or will it do this over time?

Am currently using Windows 7 and I get this message that my wireless adapter is not compatible and I may not be able to connect to the internet:

Guess the upgrade is not worth the risk.

I ran the setup.exe within Windows 8.1 and it asked me for my original product id :S
