Nice, let us know how it goes!

By the looks of it all phones, e-readers and tablets should be well under those limits and most laptops look OK too.

For example a ipad3 4g is basically just a screen stuck to a big 3 cell battery, each cell under 15Whr: http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/iPad-3-4G-Teardown/8277/3#s33163

and a couple of laptops I could find specs on:

Fujitsu LIFEBOOK SH771 - 6 cells = 72Whr
HP EliteBook 8560w - 8-cell = 83 WHr

freitasm:
Seriously though, a few years back bombs were found inside laser cartridges - the electronics for detonation were easily disguised inside the cartridge's own, and the fact that the exploding material had a similar appearance as toner in the X Ray didn't seem to help...

Wouldn't we be better off banning bombs then?

100WH is huge. I have a 130WH battery to power a studio strobe, the battery alone weighs more than 1 kg, probably more like 1.5kg.

Portable electronics should have no problems coming in under that limit.

Got my YouShop set up with USA address and configured my Amazon address book to use it.. Anyone setting this address to use with 1-click? If so, how do you configure your credit card info? Will the NZ bank issued credit card be acceptable?

A while back someone linked a website in the US that allowed you to purchase a "virtual" US based credit card for just that sort of thing. Anybody have a link and used that sort of thing?

newegg requires a US paypal account or a US credit card. Changing your billing address will not work for NZ cards.

that will work if the retailer does not validate your billing address or if your billing address differs from your shipping address

Entropay?

I used them once a long time ago, but then the service I was using it for stopped accepting payments via debit cards (which seems moronic).

"You are" = "You're" - Not "Your".  "They are" = "They're" - Not "Their" or "There".  You probably mean "lose" not "loose".  There's no such word as "Alot".
