I have a part time hotmail account that I only use about once a month or so. I went to log into in the other day and a message came up saying 'looks like someone else is using your account....' (or words to that effect) and I have to verify who I am...
I set the account up about 8? years ago and can't remember half of the details I used to set to up

I've filled in as much detail as I can remember (name, address, location, additional e-mail address....) but I get an e-mail (to my ihug address) saying I haven't provided enough information and they cannot verify who I am?!?!

Does anyone know how I can get around this to get back into my account? or more to the point how could someone else get into my hotmail account and keep me out?

also should I report this to Hotmail / microsoft??
