Keen to talk to any fellow GZers who are based/work outside of the Upper North Island (Taupo & South).

We've enjoyed working with CoffeeBaron for VDSL Master Splitter installs (which we encourage clients to have done unless there is a very good reason) - and would prefer to work with independent contractors across NZ than with Chorus.

I'll send you a PM. Good to have contacts everywhere! I'm guessing you can sometimes come a little south from time to time too.

Do you need any kind of licence to install these? I DIY installed my own one in my house, it wasn't a difficult task.

Na nothing like that required. A good knowledge of general phone wiring is essential though for doing them in most homes. But yea, not a difficult task but can be tricky in some houses where running cables is tricky.

Im in Palmy and have installed more splitters than I care to think about lol.

Cheers for that Sam. If I see anyone in this area asking about master splitters, I can advise them to contact you; if you don't mind that is?
