Now that Spotify is out in NZ do we have any indications as to when an app for Windows Phone will come out??

They have a WP7 app, it still isn't in the NZ store though. I have asked them on twitter but no reply as of now.

NZ Herald has an article dated 29 March about NZ launch of Deezer. Deezer is "different" in that its playlists are curated by humans. Registration for login is Facebook only though!

no it isn't, it asks you to log on with Facebook but it then says if you dont have a Facebook account you can register. you just have to put in a name , email account and a password and you are joined.

You're right, Facebook is not compulsory - I was not reading it correctly.

Deezer launch was announced one year ago here in New Zealand, and it was in my original list of legal download/stream services. I wonder if the NZ Herald article is just a PR boost.

In any case this thread is about Windows Phone, so here is an update: since the thread started Spotify launched in New Zealand, as well as Pandora, both with Windows Phone apps.
