So I was super excited my Lumia 800 arrived today. I've just plugged it in and the display looks awful. The backlight appears to be on 100% making everything look terrible and washed out, and I can't change it even when setting it to manual. Even the battery charging screen has a really bright grey background.

Will keep trying but otherwise back to the shop tomorrow. FFS.

Nope. Utterly busted. Colours all over the place Red looks orange. Now to see if retail stores will sort online purchases. Knowing Vodafone it will be as difficult as possible.

Called Vodafone - have now couriered it off to Brightpoint. Arrived this morning so will see how long it takes.

Wife just rang and my replacement has arrived - only another 6.5 hours till I can go home! So much for Uni assignments tonight.
