Just noticed Nokia Feedback and Calls+SMS updates in Store as well for the Nokia Lumia 920.

The phone rebooted after installing these.

Took my phone out to see the Hobbit event earlier and to try out the video at 1080p. That all worked fine and as expected. OIS doesn't make up for wobbles, but it does fix jiggles. And one must always remember to wipe the lens before any picture or video.

Whilst I was out I also received my first video call on the Skype preview app. That worked rather well. I noted that when either camera was enabled, the audio went out the speaker. One feature that would have helped is if the camera could be switched to the main one so that one could more easily show something other than one's face to the other person. The Skype app and integration are certainly looking good though.

Battery life has been good so far, but hard to tell as I'm playing with it a lot more than I normally would.

The phone only reset the once, but my wife also received her 920 this morning and that turned itself off a few hours later and could only be revived with a soft-reset (Vol+Power).

Otherwise it's still all good and I'm looking forward to checking the couple of cases I ordered off eBay.

Perhaps we should create a new topic for Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 8 owners instead as this one seems to be Windows Phone 8 in general?

Anyone that's waiting for a colour 920, Axiom Telecom is processing my preorder right now, shipping today (UAE time). Unlocked, no branding, NZ$860 inc shipping + customs charges / GST. Nokia UAE have announced them as one of the main retailers for the region and they have exclusivity on the red in the region.

Folks, please use the other thread to discuss Nokia Lumia 920 and so on - pretty much like the Android forum where each model has its own thread.

Anyone know if a data counter like 3G Watchdog exists on Windows Phone 8?

I know there is Nokia Counters on WP7.5 (but I don't have a Nokia device) and then there is Data Sense which is exclusive to Verizon.

Aside from the compression I am amazed that Data Sense is exclusive because surely is could be used as a basic data counter by everyone??
