Just received my black Lumia 920 charging plate from Acquire. Cost 76.99 including shipping and took 1 day to arrive.

Im starting to get a little bit angry with nokia drive, ever since my phone got replaced it has never been able to track gps in drive, sometimes it works but is really jumpy.

I've hard reset the phone and it still doesn't work. Nokia maps is better but still some times doesnt find my location. Im beginning to think this a hardware problem.

Interesting you say that. I've noticed yesterday that both Nokia Maps and Nokia Drive weren't keeping the icon showing my location updated.

I wonder if the last couple of updates for those two apps broke something?

I know location is working because both FourSquare and Twitter seem to get the location coordinates pretty fast and accurately.

I think you're correct, i downloaded "gpsinfo" and it locks with a-gps in about 3-5 seconds, and then full gps around 10 seconds (this is indoors)

So must be software updates?

Amazon has now price matched Nokia Lumia 920 (Black, Red and White colurs) same price of USD$449 as AT&T if you wish to purchase it outright. I am looking for a Red. It's carrier/network locked to AT&T but trying to find a unlock code service that works with AT&T Nokia Lumia 920. Plenty available for EE in UK, Rogers in Canada.

Comes down to NZD$650 incl shipping and GST from Customs via YouShop.

Folks, start searching and please post results of a post/thread about successful unlock service that works with AT&T Nokia Lumia 920.

ps - I imported and unlocked my first generation Windows Phone in 2010 (Samsung Focus) via Amazon Wireless as well and bought the unlock code via ebay. Wife still using this handset without any issues.

Regarding 920 freezes... I'm finding Baconit to be the crashiest app on my 920. It's the only app that I catch crashing out regularly and the phone has frozen 2-3 times whilst using it.

Im getting a little frustrated with my phone, this is my replacement unit I picked up earlier in the week, my last one heated up really bad and drained very fast. Seems I have dropped the heat issue but doubled my battery drain issue.

Here is a screen shot from last night - Fully charged at 1230am - basically completely drained before 9am

The phone was doing nothing, no apps in background, and all battery saving tips turned on (just short of turning the thing into airplane mode)

I think my next step is getting my money back, or do I risk getting a third? I mean surely cant get 3 faulty phones, right? lol

Are you running this with NO apps at all, just the phone after a reset?
