Same here. If it's not fixed, I'm going to re-evaluate my Lumia 800 ownership.

From a non compass user, comparing similar apps, to a htc sensation, 7.8 seems to have fixed the issue. Don't quote me on that, though.

I am a Telecom Lumia 800 owner and no sign of 7.8 yet? But it appears it cannot be far away?

Nokia posted a blog entry saying it's delivering now, but then:

"The Windows Phone 7.8 update is now rolling out for Nokia Lumia smartphones through February. Delivery of the update is operator dependent, meaning you will receive a notification in the coming weeks if you have an unlocked phone or if your operator has approved the update. If you don?t receive the update notification within the next three weeks, please contact your operator for more information."

Sure, but read my previous post:

"Delivery of the update is operator dependent..."

This means while the update is available now from Nokia it may not be available with the OK from the operator until later...

As usual, being held by the operators.

Good work then. What about the other OEM available in New Zealand? The HTC Trophy (which my wife's using on 2degrees) and the LG (which I use everyday at home as a "wifi tablet" kind)?

I am looking forward to this update.

There has been several how to video's on youtube and the likes, but i would rather wait.

My phone is a parallel imported Lumia710, so it will be interesting how long the update takes to become available to my phone.

I cant seem to get that trick to work on my system at the moment.

Be interesting to hear if anyone else was able to get this to work, or if this was only for Mango.
