Just saw this:

LG Optimus 7Q available to Gen-i clients

The LG Optimus 7Q, the first Windows Phone 7 device for Telecom's  XT network, is now available to Gen-i clients.  From next week, we will begin to provision pre-ordered stock to clients who have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of XT exclusive device.

We are keen to see our clients take advantage of the benefits we can deliver with the Windows Phone platform.

It offers an exciting platform for businesses to develop applications which work across mobile, desktop and cloud-based services.

The seamless integration across fixed and mobile technologies will help our clients maximise their existing investments and easily extend their business applications out to mobile devices.

The RRP for the new LG Optimus 7Q device is $899. Our clients have mobile plans and pricing customised to meet their individual needs and, as a result, many clients will receive a discounted or free device.

These don't arrive until the 15th of Dec, and I think they are released officially (stores) then?
More WP7 XT releases coming in Jan or Feb. It is an HTC (I'm assuming the surround).

I think I am getting one, but will have a play with one of my preorders first. I'd rather have a Samsung Focus.

Picking up a pile of these in an hour, will have a good play and post my opinion.

I understand these are initially only being released to Gen-i customers at this stage. No release to Telecom stores this year. It would be great if Telecom bring in the Samsung Focus but that seems unlikely in the short term.
