Looks like we can get the mango update now. I used the 'internet disconnection' trick previously described in another post (can't post links yet) and it's updating as we speak...

Mine updated to Mango RTM without any issues as well.

No luck with that. It worked for me when I upgraded to NoDo, but not this time...

Tried disconnecting after 3 seconds. Then timed the "no update message" and subtracted 15 seconds and then went down from there.

Nothing. So will just wait. If it doesn't come by end of the week might as well just get a new handset. Kind of tired of this joke of "rolling out upgrades" really. Telecom New Zealand is not even listed so there's no guarantees.

Mine worked first time (Voda HTC Trophy). Up to '7 of 9' of the main upgrade (also installed an intermediate update first). Taking a while, but still progressing

EDIT - finished

Got mine upgraded after a few attempts at this. Heres what worked for me.
Turned off the wireless on PC, turned off wifi & data on phone.
Plugged PC in using network cable.

Click update link
Count to 5 seconds
Pull out cable

It went through 2 updates, and had just finished upgrading

Liking the text message speech feature. Did a test receive and reply, worked fine. Linked inboxes have saved me some space on my home screen too

Took me a few tries, however it only seemed to work when I put the mobile in flight mode rather than turning off both WIFI and data individually.

Prior to that I was getting either "no internet connection" or "no update available".

Liking the improvements so far..

Updating my LG now. This time tried on desktop with ethernet, seeing it wasn't working ok on WiFi in my laptop.

some good improvements. I had forgotten about the easy switching between recent apps (press-and-hold back button). Haven't done anything with groups yet. Linked email is good, along with text/voice features.

I'm not sure whether I'm imagining it, but the keyboard seems to be a bit snappier and accurate. Might just be too much time spent on the TouchPad :)
