With the annual Nokia World in London tonight, what are you hoping to see announced.

Are your wants hardware related, or more software and services?

You'll be able to stream the event live at 9pm this evening on the following link: http://events.nokia.com/nokiaworld.

My first mobile was a Nokia. This was 1995. My first smartphone was a Handspring Visorphone (Palm OS), followed by a Nokia 3650 Symbian, in 2002. Moved to Windows Pocket PC Phone Edition just after, then Windows Mobile and Windows Phone.

Looking forward to what Nokia can do with Windows Phone. I hope it's good. Counting on this.

Hoping to see more Meego/Harmattan devices like the N9. :)
Or at least an announcement that there will be more. Not holding my breath though.

Both hardware and software. Sexy and sleek hardware just like the N9 and Nokia maps and drive just like the symbian and meego counter part.

Have seen leaked pics of the Nokia 800, 710 and Ace today and the Nokia 800 which is what I am gunning for personally is missing a front facing camera. Not a biggie for me but some people will I am sure want one.

It seems strange that there would be no front camera on the Nokia 800 as the N9 has the front camera (although I understand the current N9 software might not support the front camera at the moment).

Or perhaps the N9 camera location in the lower left was considered a problem - I think the original idea was to use the camera in landscape mode or something.... not that I ever used the front camera or video calling on a phone except for the first time to try it because it was there. :)

Not according to that link posted. It says 9.00am UK time which is because of NZ DL savings 10.00PM here or are they still in summer time there??..

UTC is 'an hour out'. London and Auckland are 12 hours apart:

Though I suspect tonights offering will solely focus on the WP7 platform irrespective of what Nokia do with Meego.  I still think there will be more Meego devices though. Interesting times!!!!!

This has to happen, otherwise I think WP7 is really going to struggle.  Which will be a pity as by all reports it is a good OS.

"For availability, you can expect to see the Lumia 710 hitting Hong Kong, India, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan by the end of the year, with additional markets in the first part of 2012."

Le sigh...
