Clove has the pre-order page up for the Lumia 800 including many carriers in UK, France, Italy and few other european countries.

Don't care about the front facing camera personally so will be getting this most likely.

Lumia 800's aesthetics are brilliant - the best looking smartphone on the market, bar none. Beats any current Apple or Android offerings - it's absolutely stunning, and perfect size too.

But ... what ... no front facing camera?!  And MS have just purchased Skype?!! My partner has a Samsung Galaxy S, with Skype, so a Skype phone is a must for me. Really disappointed as I hoped this would be the phone that would convince me to make the jump from android. So I guess I will have to hold onto my LG P500 just a little longer, and keep waiting ...

Clove has got the specs wrong. Both Lumia 800 and 710 are quad band 3G spec'd devices.

Will work on all 3 NZ mobile networks.

All together a regular occurrence with places like Clove and GSMArena.  Got told the other day by a retailer that the E7 would only work on 2 Degrees and Vodafone. Frown

BrentR: Nokia Drive is already available on our other platforms (it is also a part of Nokia Maps), in regards to Nokia Mix Radio, we'll be able to comment when when can share information about local availability :)

Will this be similar to the other local Windows phone features - non-existant.
It will be interesting to see how the next launch goes, avoiding all the things like Zune music which are not available in NZ.

Nokia Drive elements have already been built for NZ through Nokia Maps so I see no reason why it won't be available here. Music wise it comes down to getting the appropriate licensing agreements with the various music industry bodies, record companies etc.

freitasm: "For availability, you can expect to see the Lumia 710 hitting Hong Kong, India, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan by the end of the year, with additional markets in the first part of 2012."

Le sigh...

I wonder when they will introduce the Lumia in the Spanish language markets.

That's different from before. I'm sure that page showed quadband yesterday.

it definately showed quadband yesterday.  maybe they rejigged it cause they're launching a 'vodafone' variant first.  i wonder if it costs operators to have unused bands 'removed'...?
