I really enjoyed the first game, BL2 doesn't seem to be doing it for me. Maybe it's the fact that I seem to be doing a disproportionate amount of running huge distances just to get from A to B because there's no fast travel or catch-a-rides in some of the areas, or the fact that I've yet to find any weapon, other than the Gearbox sniper rifle I started the game with, that is even remotely close to being useful as an all-rounder. (Either the magazines only hold enough for 3 shots, or they're hopelessly inaccurate etc).
As it's a Steam-linked game, I can't onsell it, so I'll keep plodding along and hopefully it gets more interesting. The fact that it was NZ$56 including postage from nzgameshop is an upside.
Maybe I should've chosen a character other then the Siren? Her freeze-lock power seems to be remarkably useless.
Having much more fun playing Rochard which is just a platform game.
I will say that BL2 certainly _looks_ a lot better, particularly at 1920x1080 with all the options turned to 11, even PhysX. I've yet to see any slowdown or frametearing which is good. The Claptrap & Handsome Jack dialog is pretty entertaining as well.
