It's been a while since I bought a game from a store, I am now mostly converted to Steam for PC Gaming and only buy disks for my consoles. I could sell my xbox at this point, it's a year since I switched it on. My PS3 does everything I want.

Can't say I'm too impressed with them. My last order with them, the game was in 'used' condition, this included multiple scratches and a cracked case. Pricing wise they are also lackluster aside from the very occasional good deal. Customer service and delivery speed is decent.

Check out http://nzgameshop.com - They're UK based so it'll take 4-5 days for items to arrive, but the prices are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than MightyApe. I buy my PC games as doing so from nzgameshop is cheaper than buying them from Steam, and I don't like their pricing. Given that seemingly all PC games are code-locked it means there is zero resale value unlike console games, but it's rare I bother onselling them, once they're installed the disks become pretty redundant... I've found JB HiFi to often have better in-store prices than MA as well. That said, MightyApe are generally pretty reliable, some non-game related items they sell are surprisingly competitively priced. "You are" = "You're" - Not "Your". "They are" = "They're" - Not "Their" or "There". You probably mean "lose" not "loose". There's no such word as "Alot". On the internet, wasting time, since '89.

Friend at work uses them all the time and has only good things to say about them too. I have brought games from Play-Asia before. They were good, pretty decent prices and a large variety of games, some quite obscure which is cool. Last time I checked they had free shipping.

mightyape are good like everyone has said, ive bought things off them in the past, very reliable company. however their prices arent the best, and they dont really try to price match other online stores. for boardgames i would use them. for xbox/ps3 games i would buy from nzgameshop.com. thats a UK based company, but everything is in NZ dollars and FREE SHIPPING. ive bought lots off that site (found out about it from geekzone). way cheaper than any store in nz ive found, shipping is 4 to 8 working days (usually about 5 days ive found). www.reven.co.nz

Used MightyApe a few times with no problems although tend to use nzgameshop more as their prices are nearly always better, especially on new releases. I don't mind waiting a week or so if it saves me $20-30 unless it's a game I have to get on release but there are so many good games I still have left to finish that I'm rarely in a rush.

For the sake of around $40, I'll wait an extra 4-5 days. With little kids in the house, and having an understanding wife, she is ok if I play games on Friday and Saturday nights, so for me quick delivery trumps a few $ in my pocket.

The other good one I've used several times is cdwow.co.nz. Actually based in Hong King I think, but all charged in NZD and delivered free. Very good prices, for example, XCOM Enemy unknown (PC): mighty ape - $77 (+delivery?) nzgameshop - $58.99 cdwow - $44.79 I honestly can't remember how quick their delivery is, but I think it's comparable to nzgameshop

Well my 2 cents is I believe I've already stated I will 9 outta 10 times go through nzgameshop as prices are always cheaper and delivery times are not too bad. However the last 2 things I've bought have taken about double the normal delivery time. Worst part one of those was Borderlands 2 so whilst every time for over a week I logged into xbox live half my friends were all playing and I was getting annoyed. nzgameshop are good if you don't mind waiting otherwise use a physical store (although I've always been led to believe mighty ape ship preorders the day before release so they'd be fine too). Halo 4 for me I did get through JBHIFI as I took a bit of time in getting around to preordering my special / limited edition and with only a few $$$ cheaper at nzgameshop I was happy to get it locally so I can play all day on release day.
