favorite cars so far: RUF RGT '00 (Porsche) RUF BTR '86 (Porsche) Holden Monaro CV8 '04 (Supercharged) :) Mitsubishi LEGNUM VR-4 Type V'98 have over 40 cars in the garage left after selling several sick of buying cars to complete races only to win them in something else

The 787B is always my favourite. Although, I am noticing that the 787B sounds a little off. It sounds like it has repetitive tapping/thumping going on. Sort of like it has a flat tyre or something. Maybe that's the way it is supposed to sound when compared to GT4... I dunno.

I don't mean during idle. That would just be plain obvious as it is a rotary. And rotary's sound like that when idling anyway. What I meant was it is a weird consistent shallow thumping sound (2 - 3 times every second). This is when it is doing between 3k - 9k RPM, 150kmph - 400kmph.

Just a heads up if you have a Facebook account and want the 'chrome-line' Jaguar (that comes with the Collector's edition) or 'racing suit' avatar for PS home. Found this on gtplanet, and it works for me :) Go here : http://apps.facebook.com/takeittothetrack/ 1) Press 'Go' on the game 'Shot in the Dark' 2) Click 'Just Play' 3) Play the game (get any score, it doesn't matter) 4) Click on one of the five 'recent players' on the bottom right. 5) Click on the drop down box 'Friends' and click 'My Locale' 6) Choose 3 people and write a comment (you can write anything). 7) It should come up with a blank grey rectangle, refresh the page. Now go here: http://apps.facebook.com/takeittothetrack/profile On the bottom right, there should be a code for the Jaguar XJ13 Chrome-line and a code for a racing suit avatar for PS home.

Cheers for that, worked great EXCEPT I had to add 4 instead of 3 at step 6). So I suggest people add four, its not that much harder :)

Level 25 A-Spec now One event in the 'Extreme series' to go, which is the formula 1 racing. The particular formula 1 car that you need is 5-million credits and can only be found in the used-car dealership. It's annoying how you can't sell many of your cars, and the ones that you can sell will get you less than 50k..My Lamborghini I bought for 300k + can only be sold for around 30k..

So I got rewarded a "ticket 1000" today for a car. I'd been reading about others getting nothing better than an '01 Civic so was a little worried but instead got handed a shiny GT-ONE Race Car (TS020) '99. Whilst this is great, i'm getting a little bummed about not getting Premium cars as gifts, the number of standard cars is wearing me down. www.archimage.co.nz psn: PabloNZ

OK, so a few tips i've picked up along the last day for NASCAR races. 1. Turn OFF ABS for any race where you've noticed you can't hold the cornering speed the other cars have. It makes a huge difference and even works for the Special events to great success. I spent probably 2 hours trying to pass the Intermediate Daytona outside passing manouver event then turned ABS off and got a silver first shot with only 1 hundredth off gold. 2. The AI is idoitic and on-rails. It would take a tank to spin them, but you will spin with the slightest tap to the rear quarter. For the Extreme Daytona race i've found it easier to stay near the back of the leaders for 8 laps or so then catch up on the corners of the last two laps and get them closer to the line, that way I wouldn't get caught up in the bumper cars. In other news i'm finding it tougher to gain enough experience to level-up, and am now at a point where i have to go back and race old races again four or five times before being able to do the next few races in the Extreme series, it's starting to get a little tiring. 1.03 patch is out but rumor has it it may wipe your car collection needing a complete re-install... think i'll wait a couple of days before installing... reference
