Has anyone managed to acquire the elusive Formula Gran Turismo? Word is that it appears in the used dealership around day 400. And whilst i'm only at day 360odd i need to make both my bank balance up to the near $5Mil it costs and jump up to level 24 at the same time. I'm fearing a 20xAmerican Championship will do it, but that's 100 laps of daytona, at just over 47sec per lap in a NASCAR, so 80minutes of turning left is in my future. sigh. www.archimage.co.nz psn: PabloNZ

haven't seen it yet. I'm just skipping that race till the car turns up and hopefully i can afford it at the time. Where do you see what day your on. 400etc ??? on my second endurance race. lvl26 - 4 hours in a bloody mx5

Check your save game file and it will tell you how many days you have done. One race usually means one day. One level in the licence tests is also counted as one day so long as you jump back to the GT home after each one... that way you can jump through the days pretty quick. www.archimage.co.nz psn: PabloNZ

Anyone got a spare NASCAR that they don't need/want to trade? I can't get golds in the NASCAR challenges, and it is expensive to buy....

Well i got the car... and now i'm noticing the limitations of a controller vs. wheel/pedal combo. I'm just not able to turn accurately enough. Time should help but i'm not holding my breath on being able to be any good at it... www.archimage.co.nz psn: PabloNZ

Some things i've noticed. Once you get onto level 23 and above experience comes thick and fast, 18k here, 22k there. And then once you do the first Enduro you can get over 100k (granted it takes over an hour and a half to race it). With an hour and a half of repetitive racing up my sleeve i've begun to notice the AI flaws. They like to cut you off if you are passing them but not on the racing line. It's as if they are trying to give me room as they see me coming up from behind but instead of staying out of my way they move off the racing line but by which point i'm already lined up to pass on the other side. Sigh. The formula GT is a hell of a car, but why didn't PD update their flagship car to a Premium model? Shrug. The FGT setting's i'm using to good effect are below: downforce F 70 R 90 Gear top speed 390 LSD 15/45/55 suspension height 5/5 10/10 for bumpy spring rate 17.4/17.5 dampers E 8/8 dampers C 6/6 roll bars 7/7 camber angle F 2.0 R 1.0 Toe angle F 0.00 R -0.20 Brake balance 4/1 These settings have helped me gold three of the FGT championship races and looks to be good enough for the others. NOTE: Has anyone else realised you can race for pole position in championships by 'practicing' once entered into the championship of your choice? I didn't but it makes a hell of a difference to be out in front from the get-go. www.archimage.co.nz psn: PabloNZ

FINALLY PASSED THE TOP GEAR CHALLENGE. It was amazing i was so excited i ran around the house like I did when Winston Reid knocked in the goal to get us the draw with slovakia.

Anyone else tried using custom music for race BGM ?
