Reading through this thread, you guys must be annoyed that your ME1 & ME2 saved games and all you decision during ME3 make no difference to the final outcome? Or do you not care because the game itself is so good?
I was going to buy this game (as a gift for someone I bought ME2 for) but I don't think it submit them to that dissapointment.

Nail on the head with that aspect of the game.  I did think there would be more of an impact on the endings...  I completed it with 69% galactic readiness & will boost that up to 100% & do it again just to see the change in the ending, if it even impacts on it who knows.

Don't get me wrong I am not dissapointed with the endings but would liked to have seen a bigger impact.

Playing through clocked up 23 hours with nearly all the side missions done albeit on normal difficulty.  You can expect up to 45 hours on hard!

Playing through for the second time with a different class and making different choices, let see how that plays out

Still would rate it 8.5/10

Around 22 - 26 hours, depending if you wish to do all the loyalty quests & full ship upgrades. That will give you the perfect ending

Spot on... 24 hours for me on my playthrough of ME2. I did go back to repeat the ending several times to 'get it right'. I was not going to leave anyone behind :-)
