Hi,

What format are the WAV files attached to voicemail emails?

I can't listen to them on Android or iOS.

Would be handy if I could while out and about.

Is there an android app that can play them?

You can listen to them on android with Remote Wave Free
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.toremote.audio.freeplayer

I've been using this for the last few years and it plays the voice messages perfectly.

Not sure if there is a similar thing for iOS.

Thanks this works.  Don't really care iOS lol. I use android day to day but I tried iOS and it had the same issue.

Thanks, this is something that I've been meaning to sort out for a while now, but, just haven't got around to it.
I am a bit surprised that native android can't play simple wav files though...

I did a bit of googling and found that a lot of people were having this issue with various voicemail wav files from different systems around the globe.

They seem to use a different codec, its not just a wxc issue.
