Hi

I need to set up another line on 3cx (lincensed, not free version). I have 3 lines already and they are working fine (both internal and external)  but the 4th line that I am trying to set up now can make phone call to internal phones and outside landlines, cell phones,  but can't receive a call from outside . it can receive a call from internal phone though.

Situation here is there are 4 open VFX lines and each one dedicated to 4x cisco 303 telephone.

1. xx-xxxx-1471 (ext 471)
2. xx-xxxx-1472 (ext 472)
3. xx-xxxx-1475 (ext 475)
4. xx-xxxx-1470 (ext 470)

- Firewall is set to port forward to 3cx, opened necessary ports.
- 3CX is also configure and I can see all 4 lines are registered as well as extensions.
- VOIP Cisco 303 are also configured all same.

I have a problem with #4 line and made it same with #2 except extension and registration details of VFX.

I  initially contacted 3cx support team, and they said there are no incoming call so must be blocked by the provider. So I called wxc support team but they can't do nothing except checking the line is registered or not. I am stuck now.
Thing I don't understand is that  from 3cx I can see the line is registered and can receive a call internally for #4 line.
so Firewall or the provider is blocking a call, but another 3 phones are fine.

Can someone have any ideas?

Hi Yasu,

Looks like there may be something happening incorrectly on your registration attempts.

Have a read through the following page and confirm your time between registration attempts is set to 300.

http://help.xnet.co.nz/questions/121/3CX+v10.0+Setup+instructions

Hopefully this helps.

Thanks
Cameron

Hi Cameron,

Thanks. I have checked and confirmed that settings for 3cx is correct. but it still can't receive any calls. still I have heard a message "the number you have called is not currently active or is invalid..."

Is there any ideas?

The team will take a look, most likely the number is not getting through your router , if you make a call out can you make a call in immediately after hanging up ?

a PM is a private message,  don't worry about doing this though - I have passed on your details to the Operations team who are currently investigating.
